Madaket Road is ready for a fall freshen-up, so join the ACK Clean team as they tackle this stretch of roadway. All ages are welcome and all that is needed is a positive attitude and a readiness to get your hands a little dirty for an hour. Let’s keep Nantucket clean!
3. Nantucket Island Fair

Our island fair, is a great island fair, don’t miss it, don’t even be late! Take a step back in time and enjoy building scarecrows, giant pumpkin competitions, craft demos, fair food and more. $15 per car or $5 for bikes and walkers. For more information, click here.

Join Egan Maritime Institute for an evening of enchanting sea shanties performed by Bill Schustik, and we just know you’ll be imagining yourself aboard a mid-19th century merchant sea vessel. 10. Faraway Islands: Lightship Basket Making on Nantucket & Japan

There’s less than a month left to view the Lightship Basket Museum’s 2016 exhibition exploring the popularity of Nantucket basket making among Japanese craftswomen and the history of the interactions between the two islands.
