SUMMER WITH THE DREAMLAND STAGE COMPANY


Registration is open for the Dreamland Stage Company’s summer theater camps and productions. The Dreamland is offering theater and dance for kids of all ages with its

YOUTH WEAVING AT THE NANTUCKET HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION


It’s never too early to learn basket weaving! The
NHA, in affiliation with the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum, is offering a Youth Weaving Program for children in grades 3-6. With generous funding from the Nantucket Golf Club, these small classes provide students with hands-on instruction to help them not only learn a new skill but also gain a deeper understanding of this cherished Nantucket craft. OPENING DAY AND MORE AT MARIA MITCHELL


One of Nantucket’s special and must-do activities is visiting the
Maria Mitchell Association. The Aquarium, Natural Science Museum and Mitchell House are ready to welcome you on their official opening day on Monday, June 6th. Come and enjoy a magical tour of the night sky with the association’s professional astronomers at the Loines Observatory. On June 13-16, families can participate in the popular and free Look Up program. Also, starting June 20th, stargazing at Loines Observatory is offered Monday and Wednesday evenings throughout the summer. See the moon, planets, star clusters and even other galaxies as you’ve never observed them before! Barnaby’s has kicked off the season with more than 100 art classes for children ages 2 to 13, and kids can also drop in and create every day, all day!
